We are pleased to announce we are supporting Ed Large of Excel Tennis with their Junior and Mini Tennis programme at Lower Windrush Tennis Club.
My Club Coach are no longer the coaching provider at Cholsey Tennis Club. We would like to thank players, parents and the committee for their support over the last three years.
All 'My Club Coach' tournaments for Summer 2010 at Esporta and Wheatley are now bookable online via the LTA website. We also have a late entry / back-up system working via our tournaments website which also has additional details of Junior and Mini tennis events.
A special event was arranged in March with twelve of the top Mini Orange players in the County. An invited team of three boys and three girls from White Horse Abingdon played Esporta Oxford in a special timed match for the My Club Coach challenge trophy. White Horse took away the trophy with a 352 points to 285 win. The format used was timed matches, which still count for mini tennis ratings, but are great for team events as every-one knows when they are on court next.
New Grade 3 event for Oxfordshire. Working together with Esporta Oxford, The LTA and St Edwards School, we have established a new Grade 3 event for Oxfordshire players taking place in the first week of most independant schools summer holidays (and can be played after school for those still in term time). The event has also attracted the sponsorship of Penny & Sinclair, the independent Oxfordshire Estate and Lettings Agency. Enter online at the LTA website using Tournament Code OXF110. Qualifiers are for 10.1 / 10.2 rated players will be on Sunday 11th July. Mini Tennis events will be Friday 16th and 17th July. This is a Grade 3 Mini tennis event also. This Oranges will be played on Friday 16th (to allow players playing in Aegon 9&U County Cup that weekend to play)
